[God] gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
2 Corinthians 5:19-20 (NLT)

As Christians, we are a sent people.  The words of Jesus were to “Go and make disciples” (Matt 28:19); Paul said he became like the people He was sent to so that he might be able to communicate God's truth and love (1 Cor 9:19-22).  We want students to understand that when they set foot on this campus, they do so as ambassadors of Christ, representatives of God's Kingdom with the opportunity to be peacemakers, seeing people reconciled to each other and to God.

Our vision needs to align with God's, understanding that He wants all people to know him through Jesus (1 Tim 2:4).  And we don’t evaluate people according to our own biases or understanding, but through the lens of the love of Jesus, through whom we have been transformed (2 Cor 5:14-21).
